How to get rid of fish smell on hands and fingers?

Stainless steel. Don't ask me why, I'm not a chemist or anything, I just know that for some strange reason, rubbing your fish-smellin' hands on something stainless steel kills the smell. lemon juice, etc., just cover it up, they don't make it go away.
